She’s looking for the words to say
Leaves falling in the autumn rain
Why did it have to be so bad? All the fun they had
Light fading in the afternoon,
Night tapping at the window soon,
She’s learning how to be herself, and nobody else,
Can take the love that she creates
Sun shining as the season change,
One evening there’s a boy on stage,
Sounds emanating from his soul makes her lose control
So you know how a flower grows,
No need to name another rose,
They lived together happily, no more need to be
Alone with such a happy home
And so it only goes to show it doesn’t matter if you’re on your own,
Or all alone just now and then
You’ll find a soul who understands, someone who only wants to take your hand,
And make you glad to love again
Entire album is excellent. As is the rest of the catalog. Go back to 1970...take the Dead and Floyd and roll them up. Yet completely different.
Just plain old GOOD MUSIC. Ed Fransko
